| Application Note: The ProSort 45 is a specifically designed divert arm that will handle both totes and cartons. When applied as a sorter it will sort at rates up to 50 cycles per minute. When applied as a diverter it will handle continuous slugs.
At all times the unique face design prevents cartons or totes from rotating. Its design also provides for a quiet environment when diverting totes by not allowing for the slapping condition that occurs when diverting on a straight face. It is designed to sort or divert from power belt conveyors or power rollers onto spur sweeps. Angle of sort or divert can vary from 30 to 45 degrees. Special face configurations must be pre-tested.
